A mother sitting next to a man on a bench near the Park-Main on the West Coast Park on a beautiful Sunday morning bright. "See .., that my son is in there," he said, pointing to a small child in a red T-shirt that was sliding down the slide. Mother's eyes were shining, proud.
"Well, very good boy," said the father at his side. "Look kids who were playing the swing in the pendulum wearing a blue T-shirt that? He's my son," she continued, introducing.
Then, looking at his watch, he called his son. "Come on Jack, what if we now go home?"
Jack, the little guy, half pleading, saying, "If in five minutes, can ya, yahhh? Soon Dad, can you? Just add five minutes, yaaa ...?"
The man nodded and he continued the swing to satisfy her. Minutes minutes passed, the father stood up, called her son again. "Come on, come on, it's time to go?"
Again and again he pleaded, "Dad, five more minutes. Just five minutes tock, ya? Can ya, Dad?" she asked, scratching his head.
The man smiled and said, "OK .."
"Well, the father must be an indulgent father," mother beside her, and saw the scene, smiling pleased with the attitude man.
The man smiled and said, "My son is older, John, last year was killed while cycling near here, by a drunk driver. You know, I never gave enough time to be with John. Now I want to give anything by Jack as long as I can with him, even as only for five minutes. I vow not to repeat the same mistake again against him. He thought he could additional extra five minutes to swing, to keep playing. And, actually, I'm the one who obtained additional five minutes of watching him play, enjoy being with him, enjoying laughter, happiness ...."
Life is not a race. Life is the problem of making prioritas.Prioritas what you have today? Give it to someone who you love, just five minutes of your time, and you certainly will not regret it forever.
