The children seem to have more wisdom than all of us. Mark, does not beg the Lord to win in every exam. Mark, do not ask God to grant and regulate each results who want to reach. The boy was also not asked God to grant all his hopes. He did not pray to win, and hurt others. However, Mark, plead to God, to be given the strength in the face of it all. He prayed, to be given the glory, and willing to realize the shortcomings with pride.
Perhaps, it has been many times that we do utuk pray to God to grant our every request. Too often we ask God to make us number one, being the best, a winner in every test. Too often we pray to God, to dispel any obstacles and temptations that exist in plain sight. In fact, is not what we need is His guidance, His guidance, and guide him?
We, are often too weak to believe that we are strong. We often forget, and we often feel weepy with this life. Is not there a spirit of struggle that we want to go through? I am sure, God gave us a tough test, not to make us weak, whiny and easily give up. Indeed, God was testing every servant of His pious.
